The (Last) Two-Shot | All the Police Academy Movies!

Because YOU demanded it, film critics William Bibbiani and Witney Seibold are reviewing all of the POLICE ACADEMY movies on this, the last-ever episode of THE TWO-SHOT!

This isn't just the last episode on the Movie House network, it's the last episode anywhere! William Bibbiani and Witney Seibold are saying goodbye to this long-running podcast by making a HUGE announcement about what their next project is, which you can only listen to at THE CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED NETWORK, along with their other shows: CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED, CANCELED TOO SOON, THE IRON LIST and WE'VE GOT MAIL!

The Two-Shot | Elves and Krampus!

It's a very special holiday presentation of THE TWO-SHOT, a podcast that's usually at the Schmoes Know Network but is airing on the CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED NETWORK this week!

You've never seen a Christmas horror movie as bizarre as ELVES, a film about a homicidal elf with a motive so weird you probably won't believe it even if you see it! It's one of the worst Christmas movies ever made, and it's the perfect double feature with the modern holiday horror classic KRAMPUS, about a family of jerks who run afoul of the spirit of the holiday's creepy counterpart!

Film critics William Bibbiani and Witney Seibold review the notorious movies YOU tell them to every week on THE TWO-SHOT, and use those infamous turkeys to introduce you to some of the greatest motion pictures ever made by making wild double features!

The Two-Shot | Santa and the Ice Cream Bunny and Dead of Night!

You may THINK you've seen the worst Christmas movie ever made, but you probably haven't seen SANTA AND THE ICE CREAM BUNNY.

This week on THE TWO-SHOT, film critics William Bibbiani and Witney Seibold watch this unbelievably cheap and off-putting family film about Santa Claus sweltering in the Florida sun and pushing around farm animals, while he tells little kids the story of Jack and the Beanstalk for no reason. It's a nightmare we tell you. A NIGHTMARE.

But it's the perfect double feature with one of the best horror movies ever! DEAD OF NIGHT is a classic anthology film about a series of ghost stories which connect in a truly terrifying way, including a Christmas installment and the scary ventriloquist doll to end all scary ventriloquist doll!

The Two-Shot | Red Sonja and Yes, Madam!

The first theatrically-released live-action Marvel feature film wasn't HOWARD THE DUCK! If you wanna get technical, it was RED SONJA, an adaptation of a character created for the CONAN THE BARBARIAN comic books, and unfortunately it's not considered very good. At all.

This week on THE TWO-SHOT, film critics William Bibbiani and Witney Seibold revisit this cult sword-and-sandal film starring Brigitte Nielsen and Arnold Schwarzenegger, and pair it with one of the most important action movies that many American audiences never saw: YES, MADAM!, the motion picture debut of action superstar Cynthia Rothrock and the first starring role for motion picture legend Michelle Yeoh!

The Two-Shot | All the 'Harry Potter' Movies!

The plucky adventures of a boy named HARRY POTTER took the whole world by storm, and not just because he could - if he wanted - conjure up a tempest!

This week on THE TWO-SHOT, film critics William Bibbiani and Witney Seibold review all ten of the HARRY POTTER movies so far, including the eight original movies and the first two films in the FANTASTIC BEASTS series!

The Two-Shot | Kazaam and The Man Who Fell to Earth!

The 90s were a hell of a decade for Shaquille O'Neal, who ruled the basketball courts, had his own rap career, invented a new kind of martial arts and played a magical genie in the embarrassing kids flick KAZAAM!

On the latest episode of THE TWO-SHOT, film critics William Bibbiani and Witney Seibold release "Kazaam" from its magical boombox and reveal why, in a bizarre twist of fate, it's the perfect double feature for Nicolas Roeg's experimental sci-fi classic THE MAN WHO FELL TO EARTH, starring the late David Bowie!

The Two-Shot | Samurai Cop and Hard-Boiled!

It's been called one of the worst movies ever made, but not by us! This week on THE TWO-SHOT, film critics William Bibbiani and Witney Seibold unleash the wild and weird 1991 thriller SAMURAI COP, complete with a lion made of yarn and a car chase that defies the laws of time and space!

And they're following that up with an early classic from action movie luminary John Woo, HARD-BOILED, which is like if The Departed had John Wick's action sequences and suddenly turned into Die Hard halfway through... and it's even cooler than that sounds!

The Two-Shot | All Six(-ish) Critters Movies!

The CRITTERS movies are kinda like the "Gremlins," movies except they’ve got badass shape-changing bounty hunters! So, it could be argued, they’re even better.

In the latest episode of THE TWO-SHOT, film critics William Bibbiani and Witney Seibold explore the five weird feature films in this series - featuring early performances by Leonardo DiCaprio and Angela Bassett! - and also the web series, which doubles as a feature length film in its own right!

The Two-Shot | The Candyman Trilogy!

CANDYMAN isn't just a song from "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory," it's one of the most acclaimed horror movies of the 1990s, and it led to two mostly forgotten sequels which... yikes, those two sequels.

But we'll get to that. Film critics William Bibbiani and Witney Seibold dissect the whole CANDYMAN movie trilogy on this week's THE TWO-SHOT!

Give it a listen!

The Two-Shot | All the Prom Night Movies!

Everyone knows the most famous slasher movie franchises, but do you recall the most prom nighty slashers of all?

This week on THE TWO-SHOT, film critics William Bibbiani explore all six entries in the PROM NIGHT franchise, from the original proto-slasher to the lousy remake, to all the utterly bizarre and forgotten sequels in between!

Give it a listen!

The Two-Shot | All the 'Fright Night' Movies!

It’s GHASTLYTOBER here at THE TWO-SHOT, and all month we’re reviewing the horror movie franchises that YOU voted for!

First up: FRIGHT NIGHT, a series of four films about horror movie fans who run afoul of real life vampires. The first film is a classic, but what about the big budget remake? And what about the two sequels that nobody ever talks about?! Is this one of the best horror movie series, or does FRIGHT NIGHT… bite?

The Two-Shot | All of the Pink Panther Movies!

It’s most celebrated comedy movie franchise in history… so why does so much of it suck?

This week on THE TWO-SHOT, film critics William Bibbiani and Witney Seibold explore all eleven feature films in the PINK PANTHER series, from brilliant Peter Sellers installments, to the bizarre Alan Arkin one-off, to the embarrassing attempts to keep the franchise alive after Sellers’ death, to the weird one with Roberto Benigni, to the often underrated reboot with Steve Martin!

The Two-Shot: Dungeons and Dragons and The Adventures of Robin Hood!

The year before THE LORD OF THE RINGS changed cinema forever we finally got a live-action movie based on the RPG game DUNGEONS & DRAGONS… and it sucked. With an embarrassingly low budget, a cast of actors who are either out of their element or way too good for this, and a story that seems to be missing whole scenes, it’s one of the most embarrassing adventure films of the century.

So why is DUNGEONS & DRAGONS the perfect double feature with THE ADVENTURES OF ROBIN HOOD, the iconic 1938 action-adventure classic starring Errol Flynn? And why does ROBIN HOOD play so much better today than a film made in recent memory?

You’ll have to listen to THE TWO-SHOT to find out! Film critics William Bibbiani and Witney Seibold talk about the best and worst of cinema, every single week! And this week they’re joined by fellow critic Liz Shannon Miller!

Give it a listen!

The Two-Shot: Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters and The Love Witch!

What if Hansel and Gretel were badass witch murderers with steam punk guns and snarky attitudes? You’d probably get something like HANSEL AND GRETEL: WITCH HUNTERS, starring Jeremy Renner and Gemma Arterton as ultraviolent action heroes.

Why did critics balk at this weird attempt to jumpstart an R-rated fantasy franchise, and why is it the perfect double feature with Anna Biller’s acclaimed horror comedy THE LOVE WITCH, about a young witch whose attempts to find love go horribly awry?

You’ll have to listen to THE TWO-SHOT to find out! Film critics William Bibbiani and Witney Seibold talk about the best and worst of cinema, every single week! And this week they’re joined by fellow critic Liz Shannon Miller!

The Two-Shot: The Dark Tower and The 5,000 Fingers of Dr. T!

If you thought Stephen King’s THE DARK TOWER was hard to adapt, how do you make a movie out of the wild imagination of Dr. Seuss way back in the 1950s?

Film critics William Bibbiani and Witney Seibold explore why King’s movie went wrong, and why THE 5,000 FINGERS OF DR. T gets Dr. Seuss just right, and may be one of the best fantasy movies you’ve never heard of!

It's an all-new episode of THE TWO-SHOT!

The Four-Shot: All the Breakin' Movies!

ELECTRIC BOOGALOO is the most famous subtitle in all of movie history, but have you ever actually seen the BREAKIN’ movies, and did you know there were technically FOUR of them?! We’re taking a look at all the films that captured the cultural zeitgeist of the mid-1980s in this all-new episode!

Join film critics William Bibbiani and Witney Seibold as they show you the place where good taste and bad taste collide, every week on THE TWO-SHOT!

The Two-Shot: Caddyshack II and The Rules of the Game!

CADDYSHACK II has often been called one of the worst sequels ever made... but not by us. In the latest episode of THE TWO-SHOT, film critics William Bibbiani and Witney Seibold compare "Caddyshack II" to the original comedy classic, and discover that the sequel is actually the better of the two!

And what's even crazier, they think "Caddyshack II" is the perfect double feature with Jean Renoir's THE RULES OF THE GAME, a film about class divides that, like "Caddyshack II," was originally criticized but now, unlike "Caddyshack II," is considered one of the best movies ever made!

The Two-Shot: Faust: Love of the Damned and Max Max: Fury Road!

Not a lot of people talk about it, but Brian Yuzna's FAUST: LOVE OF THE DAMNED is probably the most disgusting live-action superhero movie ever made! So why is this ultra-low budget film, about a guy who makes a deal with the devil to get Wolverine claws so he can behead people, the perfect double feature with George Miller's celebrated action classic MAD MAX: FURY ROAD?

Film critics William Bibbiani and Witney Seibold guide you through a notorious misfire and an all-time classic every single week on THE TWO-SHOT!

The Three-Shot: All the Sharktopus Movies!

Half shark, half octopus, all cheese!

This week on THE TWO-SHOT (or in this case, THE THREE-SHOT), films critics William Bibbiani and Witney Seibold review all three of the SHARKTOPUS movies - "Sharktopus," "Sharktopus vs. Pteracuda" and "Sharktopus vs. Whalewolf" - to figure out which one's the good one, what cinematic value they have, and why we all should care!

The Two-Shot: G-Force and Mystery Men!

You asked us to review a movie in which Sam Rockwell, Penelope Cruz and Tracy Morgan play secret agent guinea pigs, and Nicolas Cage plays a secret agent mole, and that's just what we do on this week's episode of THE TWO-SHOT!

Is the live-action/CGI hybrid G-FORCE really as bad as it sounds? And why is it the perfect double feature for MYSTERY MEN, a superhero comedy that bombed in its initial release, only to be rediscovered over time as one of the best superhero comedies ever?

Film critics William Bibbiani and Witney Seibold are here to combine the best and the worst cinema has to offer, every week, on THE TWO-SHOT.

Give it a listen!
